Janet Morris
A ginger with the superpower of freckling
I was born in Huntsville, Alabama in 1984 between two ice storms and shocked my family with my ginger hair. I have multiple disabilities, a dachshund named Amy Pond, and a reputation for getting into online skirmishes because I’m kind of a contrarian and a know-it-all. People who know me well also know what I am really like.
I am an exhibiting artist at Huntsville Art League and was elected President in 2021. I’ve published two volumes of poetry: The Dark Lady and Ambition.
This domain was purchased for me by my parents as a 17th birthday present. The name was something I came up with on a drive home from my foster sister’s biological sister’s (first and, at the time, only) daughter’s first birthday. That was in July of 1999.
